Bhanu Ramaswamy physiotherapist contacted me last year to help her with the article she was going to write up for Parkinson’s UK magazine about Conductive Education.

I was very excited that Conductive Education will be featured in the magazine as many people found great benefit from attending the classess, but there are many who have never heard of Conductive Education.

Bhanu was approachable, knowledgeable and lighthearted. It was great to connect with her.

At that time I was working at Paces Sheffield setting up their adult services at their new initiative the  Personality Development Centre, hence the acknowledgment at the end of the article.

The article gives an inkling about Conductive Education, but has been heavily edited by the professional advisory team at Parkinson’s UK head office.

Still we are in and I am very pleased and proud!

We are also going to present about Conductive Education on the World Parkinson’s Day event in Bournemouth at Pavilion Dance South West on Sunday 17th April.

‘ It is fascinating, that when I am here with you in the session it is the only place where I feel that I don’t have Parkinson’s’.

One of our 81 year old gentlemen an ex barrister said at the end of our conductive education session today: ‘ It is fascinating, that when I am here with you in the session it is the only place where I feel that I don’t have Parkinson’s’. It is only his second course.  It is never too late to join a Conductive Education class!
