Conductive movement pedagogy

In 1955 Dr András Pető named his method conductive movement pedagogy which he began in the late 1920 and early 1930 in Austria where he worked as a young doctor.

In his writing about the name Pető highlighted that it is a pedagogy and disassociated the work from any therapy.

Pető’s conductive movement pedagogy integrates the learning of movements and functions, speech and language, self help, preschool and education along with learning of movements necessary to carry out specific skills and jobs in a unified way within the methodology of orthomotoric conduction.
