Services for Families We provide guidance and training for parents and families who wish to create meaningful, lasting change in the lives of their children and adult relatives. Our work is grounded in the Pető System of Education and informed by over forty years of professional experience, personal inquiry, and collaborative team research. At the heart of our approach is a deep belief in families. Parents and families are not secondary supports—they are the most valuable, insightful, and powerful resource in a person’s life. You may be feeling tired, overwhelmed, or frustrated, unsure of what more you can do, and searching for practical, meaningful ways to support your loved one. You are not alone. Parents know their children better than anyone else, and all family members carry a unique capacity to influence growth and change through their emotional connection, presence, and commitment. We believe every family deserves access to the understanding, tools, and confidence needed to offer the very best to those they care for. For children, this means creating an appropriate system of upbringing that nurtures development. For adults, it means shaping a way of life that supports independence, participation, and sustained physical, emotional, psychological, and overall well being. We guide you every step of the way. Sessions are individually tailored for children, adults, family members, and carers, and may include observation, assessment, guided practice, and hands-on training. We also offer group-based sessions providing clear, practical information and shared learning opportunities for families and professionals alike. Many professionals including nursery and school teachers, health care professionals, personal assistants and care support staff in educational establishments, private homes, nursing and rest homes are increasingly encountering children and adults with different neurologically based conditions and with other disabilities.

A large number of professionals worldwide have not yet received fundamental training that is inspirational and provides them with skills essential to be able to adequately support individuals and groups with a variety of conditions, aspiration and needs.

Post-SDR Programmes for Children

We provide dynamic, enjoyable programmes designed specifically for children following Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) surgery. Every session is carefully tailored to strengthen the areas your child most needs, while supporting their overall development and wellbeing.

Our programmes help children improve:

• Focus and concentration

• Emotional wellbeing

• Balance and coordination

• Walking technique and structural alignment

• Proprioception and motor control

• Life-enhancing skills

With deep roots in the Pető System, our team specialises in working with children with cerebral palsy. We understand how children learn, move, and grow, and we bring that understanding to every programme, making learning both effective and fun.

Since SDR surgery has become more common, we have supported many families, continually adapting and refining our programmes to meet the unique needs of children post-surgery. Each child’s journey is treated with care, expertise, and attention, ensuring they receive the best possible support at every stage.
